We offer a range of services to meet the needs of people.
The Richard Alexander Partnership is an independent psychological service based in Northampton offering educational assessments for children, young people and adults, as well as assessments for legal matters.
Dr Richard Alexander is the founder of the Richard Alexander Partnership, which was set up 21 years ago and he continues to be fully responsible for all the psychological work of the partnership. He has worked for Local Authorities in both education and social services departments, before commencing independent practice.
Modern psychological issues are becoming ever more complicated and to ensure that the information on which his understanding of them is based is up to date, he regularly attends and makes presentations at both national and international psychological conferences.
Richard is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of The British psychological Society.

An Educational Psychologist with Birmingham City Council with both the education and social services departments dealing with a range of child, adolescent and parenting is-sues. My work often involved the detailed assessment of learning difficulties.

I have been in independent practice since 1996 and senior partner of The Richard Alexander Partnership providing independent assessment and advice services for children, adolescents and their parents. I have been a tutor with the Open University teaching the Child Development module. For four years I provided a consultation and assessment service to two secure training centres for young offenders.
